رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْيَهُودِيَّةَ وَالنَّصْرَانِيَّةَ ، وَلَا يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَجُوسِيَّةَ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكَةَ " ، وَكَرِهَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ نِكَاحَ أَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ وَنَصَارَى الْعَرَبِ ، وَقَالَ : " لَيْسُوا بِأَهْلِ كِتَابٍ " .
