" مِصْرُ أَطْيَبُ الأَرَاضِينَ تُرَابًا ، وَعَجَمُهَا أَكْرَمُ الْعَجَمِ أَنْسَابًا " . لا أَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا ، وَإِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ مَعْنَاهُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ .
