رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " الرَّجْمُ رَجْمَانِ : فَرَجْمٌ يَرْجُمُ الإِمَامُ ، ثُمَّ النَّاسُ ، وَرَجْمٌ يَرْجُمُ الشُّهُودُ ، ثُمَّ الإِمَامُ ، ثُمَّ النَّاسُ ، فَأَمَّا الرَّجْمُ الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ الإِمَامُ فَالْحَبَلُ وَالاعْتِرَافُ ، وَرَجْمُ الشُّهُودِ إِذَا شَهِدُوا بَدَءُوا " .
