حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ، أنا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الْحَكَمَ , وَحَمَّادًا عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَنَامُ قَاعِدًا ؟ قَالا : " لا وُضُوءَ عَلَيْهِ " ، قُلْتُ : فَمُضْطَجِعٌ ؟ قَالا : " عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ " .
