رَأَيْتُ فِيَ كِتَابِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ إِلَى أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنِي صَالِحٌ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ : " رَأَيْتُ سُفْيَانَ بِالْكُوفَةِ لا يُخَضِّبُ ، ثُمَّ خَضَّبَ بِآخِرِهِ " .
