، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ غُلامًا لآلِ الأَسْوَدِ شَهِدَ الْقَادِسِيَّةَ ، فَأَبْلَى ، فَأَرَادَ الأَسْوَدُ أَنْ يُعْتِقَهُ ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، فَقَالَ : " دَعْهُ حَتَّى يَشِبَّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ مَخَافَةَ الضَّمَانِ " .
