رَأَيْتُ فِيَ كِتَابِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ : " تُوُفِّيَ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلالٍ فِي وِلايَةِ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْعِرَاقِ ، وَكُنْيَةُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلالٍ : أَبُو نَصْرٍ " .
