سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي دَارِمٍ الْحَافِظَ بِالْكُوفَةِ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْحَافِظَ , يَقُولُ : " أَحْفَظُ لِأَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ حَدِيثٍ " .
