ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ حَمَّادَ بْنَ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ بِالْكُوفَةِ أَسْخَى عَلَى طَعَامٍ وَمَالٍ مِنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ , وَمِنْ بَعْدِهِ خَلَفُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ " .
