، أَنَّهَا كَتَبَتْ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ : " أُوصِيك بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنِ اتَّقَيْتَ اللَّهَ كَفَاكَ النَّاسَ ، فَإِنِ اتَّقَيْتَ النَّاسَ لَمْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا , فَعَلَيْكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ " .
