وَمِنْ طَرِيقِهِ عَنْهُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ ، قَالَ : " لا يَمْنَعْ أَحَدُكُمْ فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِيَمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلأَ " . مَعْنَى ذَلِكَ : رَجُلٌ لَهُ بِئْرٌ فَيَمْنَعُ مَاءَهَا لِيَمْنَعَ مَا حَوْلَهُ فِي الرَّعْيِ .
