يَا مُعَاوِيَةُ أَيُغْدَرُ عِنْدَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ وَلا تُنْكِرُ ؟ ! وَاللَّهِ لا يُظِلُّنِي وَإِيَّاكَ سَقْفُ بَيْتٍ أَبَدًا ، وَلا يَخْلُو لِي دَمُ هَذَا إِلا قَتَلْتُهُ .
