خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ النَّاسُ وَقَدِ انْصَرَفُوا فَدَخَلَ دَارًا , فَصَلَّى فِيهَا , فَقِيلَ لَهُ : أَتَسْتَحِي مِنَ النَّاسِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ مَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَحِ مِنَ النَّاسِ لَمْ يَسْتَحِ مِنَ اللَّهِ " .
