رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ كَثِيرًا يَتَمَثَّلُ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ : لا تَزَلْ تَنْعِي حَبِيبًا أَبَدًا حَتَّى تَكُونَهُ وَلَقَدْ يَرْجُو الْفَتَى الرَّجَاءَ وَالْمَوْتُ دُونَهُ " .
