، إِنَّمَا اسْتَأْذَنْتَ لِتَأْتِيَ أَهْلَكَ ، فَلَوْ مَضَيْتَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمْ ثُمَّ تَنْصَرِفَ إِلَى صَاحِبِكَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّمَا أَجَّلَنِي أَمِيرِي لَيْلَةً ، وَقَدْ مَضَتْ ، لا أَكْذِبُ ، وَلا أُخْلِفُ " ، وَانْصَرَفَ إِلَى مَسْلَحَتِهِ ، وَلَمْ يَأْتِ أَهْلَهُ .
