سَمِعْتُ أَعْرَابِيًّا مِنْ طَيِّئٍ يُنْشِدُ : " فَلا وَأَبِيكَ مَا فِي الْعَيْشِ خَيْرٌ وَلا الدُّنْيَا إِذَا ذَهَبَ الْحَيَاءُ يَعِيشُ الْمَرْءُ مَا اسْتَحْيَا بِخَيْرٍ وَيَبْقَى الْعُودُ مَا بَقِيَ اللِّحَاءُ " .
