حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجٌ ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " الزُّهْدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا : مَنْ لَمْ يَغْلِبِ الْحَرَامُ صَبْرَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَسْتَقِلَّ الْحَلالُ شُكْرَهُ " .
