قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ : وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ سورة الشورى آية، 38 فَقَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ مَا تَشَاوَرَ قَطُّ قَوْمٌ، إِلا هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ لأَفْضَلِ مَا بِحَضْرَتِهِمْ " .
