يَجْلِسُ فِي الصُفَّةِ ، وَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَصَدَّعُونَ عَنْ فُتْيَاهُ ، فَيَقُولُ السُّقَاةُ : كَأَنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُبْعَثْ " .
