فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعِينَ ، وَصَالَحَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فِي شَهْرِ رَبِيعٍ الآخِرِ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَأَرْبَعِينَ فَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَأَيَّامًا .
