افْتَتَحَ مِصْرَ سَنَةَ عِشْرِينَ ، وَعَاشَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ سِنِينَ ، ثُمَّ قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ فِيهَا قَدْمَتَينِ " .
