قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ طُرِيفٍ لَا أَدْرِي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ ، أَوْ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْهُ : " مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنِّي كَذَبْتُ ، وَأَنَّ لِيَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " .
