حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ حَفْصَ بْنَ غَيَّاثٍ ، يَقُولُ : " كَانَ حَمَّادٌ أَفْقَهَ مِنَ الْحَكَمِ " .
