قَالَ : " وَمَاتَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ رَوْحٍ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ ثِقَةٌ حَافِظٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ فِي سَنَةِ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ " .
