قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ مَكْحُولُ أَفْقَهَ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، وَكَانَ مَكْحُولُ أَفْقَهَ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ " .
