حدثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ " أَنَّ نَاعِمَ بْنَ أَجْيَلٍ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ كَانَ فِي بَيْتِ شَرَفٍ مِنْ هَمْدَانَ ، أَصَابَهُ سِبَاءٌ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَأَعْتَقَتْهُ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ " .
