عن سلمة بن الأكوع قال: "لما نزلت: {وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طعام مسكين} [البقرة: 184]. كان من أراد أن يفطر ويفتدي، حتى نزلت الآية التي بعدها فنسختها".
