Hadith relayed by Samurah

Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is good, and whoever takes a bath has done what is better."

Original Arabic

عن سمرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «من توضَّأَ يوم الجُمعة فَبِهَا ونِعْمَتْ، ومن اغْتَسَل فهو أفْضَل».

Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A child is held in pledge for his ‘Aqīqah which should be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day…

Original Arabic

عن سمرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «الغلام مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ يُذْبَحُ عنه يوم السابع، ويُسَمَّى، ويُحْلَق رأسه».

Samurah reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If anyone gets possession of a relative who is within the prohibited degrees, that person becomes free."

Original Arabic

عن سمرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «من مَلَكَ ذا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فهو حُرٌّ».
