A child is born in Makkah
More than 1,400 years ago, Muhammad ﷺ was born in Makkah into Banū Hāshim, a family of Quraysh. The Kaʿbah already stood at the heart of the city.
His father, ʿAbdullāh, had died before he was born.

Sources and notes for grown-ups
Qur’anic anchor: Sūrat al-Ḍuḥā 93:6 recalls that Allah sheltered the Prophet ﷺ as an orphan. Verse 93:9 then commands kindness toward the orphan.
Early-life chronology: The sequence of Āminah’s death at about six, care by ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib and then guardianship by Abū Ṭālib is part of the established sīrah chronology.
Traditional report: The childhood period with Ḥalīmah al-Saʿdiyyah and Banū Saʿd is explicitly labelled as a traditional sīrah report in the child view.
Early sīrah reports can differ on exact dates and details. Junior Stories will show meaningful uncertainty rather than invent certainty.
