Al-Faatiha

The Opening

الفاتحة

1:1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

PickthallIn the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

1:2

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

PickthallPraise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,

1:3

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

PickthallThe Beneficent, the Merciful.

1:4

مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

PickthallMaster of the Day of Judgment,

1:5

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

PickthallThee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help.

1:6

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ

PickthallShow us the straight path,

1:7

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

PickthallThe path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.
