رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " وَاللَّهُ ، لَوْلا أَنِّي قَاسِمٌ مَسْئُولٌ ، لَتَرَكْتُكُمْ عَلَى مَا كُنْتُ أَعْطَيْتُكُمْ فَأَرَى أَنْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ " ، فَفَعَلَ .
