الْوَفَاةُ ، قَالَ : أَبِالإِمَارَةِ تَغِيظُونَنِي ، فَوَاللَّهِ لَوَدَدْتُ أَنِّي أَنْجُو كَفَافًا لا عَلَيَّ وَلا لِي " . قَالَ مَالِكُ : فَحَدَّثَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : كَذَبْتَ . قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ : أَوَكَذَبْتُ ؟ .
